Inaugural Kitten Shower
We’re thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area’s very first Kitten Shower, happening on April 20th, 2024, from 11 AM to 2:30 PM at the West Side Community Center. This isn’t just any event – it’s a celebration of fluffy goodness and a crucial fundraiser to ensure every whisker gets the care it deserves. Plus, we will have kittens onsite for your enjoyment!
Join us for a day filled with fun and memorable activities! From our Bake Off Competition featuring delicious treats from local bakeries to educational classes on Kitten Fostering and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), there’s something for everyone. Engage in Kitten Yoga sessions presented by Holistic Solutions, explore free activities like Pin the Tail on the Kitten and the Kitty Enrichment Station, and support our cause through donation-driven activities such as the Kitten Photo Booth and Face Painting Station.
Your presence and contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of the cats and kittens under our care. Together, let’s make this event a roaring success and ensure that every feline receives the love and support they deserve. We can’t wait to see you at the Kitten Shower!

In 2023, HSNBA cared for over 2500 cats and kittens, with a significant number being young kittens. As a non-profit organization, the Kitten Shower is not just an adorable event; it’s a vital fundraiser to ensure the best care for every feline in our shelter.
We are seeking sponsorships for the event to help us make the Kitten Shower an even greater success and provide essential support for our ongoing efforts. By becoming a sponsor, you align your brand with a compassionate cause and contribute to the well-being of countless feline lives.

THE BAKE OFF COMPETITION
What better way to help HSNBA save more kittens in 2024 than a good old-fashioned bake-off? Join us during the kitten shower for a flavorful opportunity to use your skills to raise funds to save lives! We are asking all competitors to provide at least 150 bites and to be onsite at the event from 11 AM – 2:30 PM.
The winner of the Kitten Shower Bake-Off will not only leave the event with bragging rights but will also have your name (and logo if applicable) displayed on a kennel plaque as part of our Kennel Sponsorship program for one full year!
This is a great opportunity for local bakeries in and around the New Braunfels area to show off their skills! This opportunity is only available for businesses – we are not authorized to allow any participants who are not a registered business.
