Meet Annie

Annie has had a rough beginning. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and unfortunately lived most of her life in a wire crate. For the first few days, she would not eat and stayed curled up in a ball. She does not have a mean bone in her body but is very fearful and takes a little time warming up. She went into a foster home and came out of her shell within a few days, but still needed time to get comfortable with them as well as the other dogs and children in the home. She is very sweet and needs a special home that understands a girl like her. Annie needs to be in an unchanging environment, that is secure and safe. She does excellent with puppies and good with other dogs. She loves children and the adults in her life, that she trusts. She may never be that simple dog that you take for walks or to the dog park but she has lots of love to give once she bonds with her person. She gives kisses to her foster mom and does not leave her side. Annie will not run off, chase after anything, has no interest in toys, or being leash walked. Annie does have a deformity on her right front paw that is being looked into currently. It does bother her at times and she will avoid putting pressure on it. If you have patience and love, Annie is your girl. She is not a normal dog, just special, and deserves to live the rest of her life happy and safe.

Annie is a special needs dog that will need some special accommodations. Her foster will be able to tell you more when you get a chance to visit with her.
