Nina (Bianca) Australian Cattle DogBlue Heeler Young Adult (6 months-2 years) Female Medium About Neutered status: Yes Meet Nina (Bianca) This is Nina, a gorgeous red heeler, just a little over a year old, who has visited HSNBA on and off since she was a puppy. It has been more than a couple of weeks this time though and it looks like her owners aren't coming for her. Volunteers describe her as the typical heeler: sweet, stubborn, obedient, treat-motivated, a total snuggle bug, and thrives with reassurance. Heelers go in cycles, they want to please people, but need to build up familiarity until they are masters of their task, friends, and territory. Due to this "heeler-ness" she may not do well around cats or dogs until she is well acclimated, but she will likely do well with humans and be incredibly loyal once she knows you. Additional staff and volunteer notes state she may be housetrained, and she knows sit, stay, come, down, shake, laydown, and rollover.
