Sadie spent some time in foster care while her leg healed up a bit! Here's what her former foster had to say about her:
"She is still very much a puppy. Wants to chew and puts everything in her mouth. She does not like to be yelled at and tends to run so we have begun teaching her to bring us whatever it is that is in her mouth. This way we can still get it from her but in a positive way that keeps her safe. She does not always come when you call her name but if you tell her she is a good girl she responds quickly. She sleeps on the bed all through the night unless she needs to go potty, then she will mumble and groan. She has learned stay and is very good at it. When she eats , she knows to sit and stay until she is told it is "okay" to eat. She is getting better at "lay down" and very responsive to treats. She likes to chew on hard bones for her growing teeth. She has just recently lost her last baby tooth. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She does not like loud noises (trash truck) or riding in the car. (SHE WILL THROW UP) we usually don't feed her before a car ride. She is in the beginnings of being crate trained but does not like it and will start yipping and drooling tremendously. She is wary of people she doesn't know or trust and will keep her distance and doesn't like people wearing hats. She is more of a flight than fight. Not aggressive but definitely a runner. She will usually sit by the door when she has to go potty. However, she has on occasion snuck off to another room to pee. I think she is still learning how to hold it and just needs time to strengthen her bladder muscles."
