SCRAPPY DOO

Hi, I’m Scrappy Doo. I’m a three-month-old boxer mix. I’ve had a pretty rough start because my owner tied a rope around my neck and never took it off so it became deeply embedded in my neck and had to be removed when I was found running the streets. I also have two deep scars on my back that may be from burns. But none of that has stopped or affected me. I have been examined and cleared by my vet. I’m a very energetic puppy who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation because I’m still in my biting and chewing stage. I'm a pretty smart guy. I learned how to use the doggie door in one day and I know some basic commands. I’m mostly housebroken but still need some reminders. I’m crate-trained but have tons of energy, so I’m not a good candidate to be crate-confined for too long. However, at night, I do very well in a crate, which works quite well, because I’m a puppy and need some time to relax (you will too, lol). I bark when appropriate, but not excessively. I get along with everybody and everything. I am confident and enjoy being a lapdog. I will do my best surrounded by people, other dogs, kids, and cats.
