Annie Oakley is a perfect addition for any family or couple that's looking for a lovable, affectionate pup. She's well potty trained and is friendly to both new people and other dogs though she may be a little shy at first but once she's smelled and had a chance to be pet, she'll warm up to anyone. She enjoys walks and is well behaved during those walks, including making sure to use the bathroom early so the rest of the walk is smooth sailing. She loves to play and chase with people once she gets going but does well to calm down once you tell her enough. She seems to have been somewhat trained before her arrival at the shelter as she obeys basic commands such as sit, commands to come back to the owner, and told when to eat and not to eat from her bowl. She is somewhat food-motivated so she can be quite easily trained if desired. She also has a lovely bed that she likes to cuddle on and is trained to go to it for bed times and meals. If you're also looking for a calm lap dog, she also loves to cuddle and sitting with you on the couch is also a favorite pastime for her.
